Accounting Trainee
After applying for the CA training contract, you are first invited to an online interview. The online interview will have HR and someone who is a CA working at the bank. They ask personal questions like tell me about yourself, also behavoural questions like what would you do if your friend was cheating in an exam. And technical questions like explaining the valuation. After this interview there are pshychometric assessments and a game. The last part is an in person interview, which is mostly about why standard and standard bank values. It’s a culture fit interview.

It was a short and reasonable process, with a panel of four members who were all very kind and professional. I felt comfortable during the discussion and found the interview to be flexible, easy, and motivational. I was mainly interested in getting a feel for the interviews at the Bank.

They asked interesting questions that let me showcase my skills, and they explained the job and team vibe well. I really liked how they were respectful and seemed genuinely interested in my background and what I want to do. I felt like they listened and cared, and I'm really excited about this chance.
