First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Standard Bank Group.
Customer Service Representative
The interview was really engaging and actually pretty enjoyable. The people interviewing me asked for my thoughts on a bunch of stuff which really made me think. It felt like they actually cared about my perspective and they even asked me for my opinion on some company development and growth topics.
- Can you tell us about your 5-10 year career goals?
- What are your thoughts on company growth and development initiatives?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was fair. It mainly consisted of questions about managing customers, how to manage customer expectations and ensure a good experience, and customer complaint handling, with a focus on conflict resolution management and communication skills. There was also a question about how to handle a customer when you have no solution to their problem.
- How do you deal with rude customers or handle customer complaints?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was pretty standard, not too hard but you definitely need to prepare. There was a panel of 4 people interviewing.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What drives you?
- What are your career aspirations in the next five years?
