Spreetail is upfront about their interview timelines, letting you know what to expect. Their website says you'll hear back within 5 days, no matter what. However, it took me over 2 weeks to get a call for a phone screening. It's not a huge deal, but just a heads-up that you might not get a response the same week you apply. I picked my interview slot from the screener's calendar, but the interview time passed without a call. No email, no call, no explanation for why they missed it. Six hours later, I got an email asking if I could reschedule for the next day (again, no reason given for the no-show). I said I was free, but never got a response, and honestly, I don't expect to hear from them again. Even if they did reach out, I was so turned off by the lack of respect and professionalism that I'd withdraw my application, especially considering the surprisingly low salary for this role compared to the market.

Presentation Behavioral

The last interview involved presenting a work sample where I had to analyze data and share my own negotiation style with vendors. The presentation, a PowerPoint, needed about 2-3 days to prepare. The overall process was smooth, although one interviewer was on a treadmill during my presentation, which was disruptive. HR was responsive and followed up, answering questions. Despite the hiring manager liking my presentation and background, the position was closed and they weren't hiring anyone, which is confusing since the job was posted.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I really enjoyed the interview process; they were quick to respond, getting back to me within 2 business days after each stage. First, there was a 30-minute phone chat with the recruiter where they asked general and some situational questions. Next, I had a 30-minute video interview with the hiring manager, who was very laid-back. We discussed a database management project and my previous work experience. The final round was a 1-hour session involving a case study/work sample presentation, followed by situational and behavioral questions from a panel. The work sample focused on demand planning and required advanced Excel skills and e-commerce supply chain knowledge; it was moderately challenging, and my advice is to keep your approach straightforward.

Behavioral

The interview process started with a recruiter call after I submitted my resume. The recruiter from people and culture scheduled a call. On the day of the call, she called 5 minutes late, sounding frustrated due to internet issues at a coffee shop. She mentioned having me on mute because of the noise. I started by talking about my background, but it felt like I was talking to a wall. The call was brief and she said she'd be in touch. The next day, I received an email stating they decided not to proceed. I replied, expressing continued interest and asking for feedback to learn and grow. I never heard back, which was disappointing given the company's emphasis on clear communication and feedback.
