The last interview involved presenting a work sample where I had to analyze data and share my own negotiation style with vendors. The presentation, a PowerPoint, needed about 2-3 days to prepare. The overall process was smooth, although one interviewer was on a treadmill during my presentation, which was disruptive. HR was responsive and followed up, answering questions. Despite the hiring manager liking my presentation and background, the position was closed and they weren't hiring anyone, which is confusing since the job was posted.

The Spreetail interview process was awesome! A recruiter hit me up on LinkedIn and we did a few screening calls. Spreetail's vibe, especially in hiring, is more startup than corporate. My resume wasn't really a focus, but they nailed asking about my background and interests. I went to Lincoln for a proper interview, and thankfully, it wasn't full of pointless questions or bored interviewers. They gave me a work sample related to the job, which I thought was brilliant – a cool way to show what I can do with a task that could seem vague. After that, I talked to the people my role would directly affect. It was a great opportunity to really get what the job is about and my part in it. The whole time, I felt like Spreetail was genuinely invested and committed. It was cool to meet the team, check out the culture, and see Lincoln. Really great people.
