The interview process started with a tour of Spreetails headquarters. It was a bit strange that someone from the computer engineering department was interviewing me for a business internship. The interview included standard questions and some unusual ones. The interviewer seemed uninterested and lacked knowledge about the role. Spreetail is a great company, but maybe an HR or business department representative would provide a better experience.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Applied online and got an email about first interview availability. It was a three step process. First interview was with a recruiter asking situational and behavioral questions like "tell me a time when you...". A week later, they reached out again to set up an interview with the team, where they asked about my experience and skills. Another week after that, they emailed me to work on a sample project and set up a time to present it to the team. I felt like the hiring team wasn't coordinated on what they wanted in an intern candidate.

Behavioral Technical

I had a Skype interview that lasted an hour. Two people interviewed me, and they were really engaged, taking lots of notes. It involved a good amount of behavioral questions and a spontaneous challenge where I had to think on my feet. The interviewers were professional, and the recruiter was super responsive. The whole thing wrapped up in 2 weeks, which was pretty fast.
