Cloud Desk Agent
I had 3 interviews, which went well. I was supposed to get feedback 2 weeks later, but I didn't hear back for a month and many follow-ups went unanswered. A friend who works there told me they no longer have a budget for now, but no one kept me informed. More than a month later, I received a Teams link by email titled 'Feedback' without any context. The interview lasted 30 seconds: I was told the position had been given to someone else but that my profile was interesting, sorry, good luck with your job search. I find this disrespectful and inconsiderate towards the candidate.
- Can you tell me about your profile?
- Describe an experience where you had to manage a conflict.
- How do you handle emergencies?
Cloud Architect
I had an initial interview with two technical Engineers, which went well. After they shortlisted me, I had a manager round that took about two weeks. The interviewer wasn't very skilled and only asked one question: 'Tell me how to design a Netflix like architecture.' I explained it clearly, but he acted like he designed Netflix's infrastructure. He didn't reject me immediately but said he needed time, dragging the process out for almost a month. Then, he told the recruiter he wanted to interview me again. He asked similar questions and then delayed for another two weeks before finally saying I wasn't suitable.
- The senior manager seems unaware of the process and responsibilities.
Presales Manager
The interview process for a Presales Lead role began with submitting my CV and a cover letter. A few days later, a recruiter called me for a phone chat. It was brief but important for assessing my motivations and suitability. Next, I had a more technical discussion with the hiring manager, where I delved into my prior experience, presales solutions, and client management approach, showcasing my specific skills. Following that, I moved to a phase focused on soft skills. I met with an HR team member who asked behavioral questions and presented practical scenarios to gauge my teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- What was the size of the team you managed?
- Tell me about your past experiences.
- How did you handle problems?
Digital Sales Associate
I went through a few interviews that had 3 rounds and an aptitude test. First, there was a recruiter call, it was an intro call to know about the role and company and for them to get my background info. Then, I had an aptitude test to check my problem-solving skills. After that, I had a video call interview with HR, focusing on my experiences, strengths, sales background, and goals. The last interview was in person in Barcelona with the heads of the firm, which included introductions and a sales role-play exercise simulating a client meeting.
- What is your understanding of our company?
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you share an instance where you handled a challenging client effectively?
