Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SoftwareOne.
Inside Sales Representative
I had three interviews. First, HR called, then the hiring manager, and finally, a second-level manager. All of these were video calls. They mostly looked at my resume and background, and how I'd fit in with the company.
- Can you talk about your current role and what you've accomplished?
- What are you good at?
- What are your biggest weaknesses?
Sales
A recruiter initially contacted me, and then I proceeded to a 1-hour interview with two senior leaders. They mentioned they would provide feedback and outline next steps by the end of the week. However, I never received a response, even after multiple attempts to follow up. I was completely ghosted. It was highly unprofessional and dishonest. I figured I was no longer a candidate, and seeing the job reposted confirmed it. The recruiting industry is flawed and unprofessional, and SoftwareONE exemplifies this.
- Could you describe your approach to motivating your team?
Sales Leader
This was a first interview with Senior Talent Adquisition Manager about the Sales Leader position for Puerto Rico. I was recommended to continue in the process for two additional interviews.
- Can you give us an overview of yourself?
- What core values guide you?
- Could you describe your professional experiences that are most relevant to this role?
