Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SoftwareOne.
Admin Specialist
I had 3 sets of interviews, and it was a really smooth and straightforward process. The HR team kept me updated on my application status. There was a task I had to do for the final stage. All the interviewers were very professional and nice.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- What are your salary expectations?
- What is your earliest availability to start?
Solution Specialist
I went through 3 rounds of interviews where I was grilled with many architecture questions and asked to share my past experiences. They told me I got the role, but then they disappeared without any further information. Their unprofessionalism is unacceptable; you can imagine how they treat their clients or employees.
- Can you describe your current role?
Licensing Specialist
The interview process had 4 rounds. The first round was a group discussion. It had 2 parts: first, introducing yourself to the group, and second, debating a topic (mine was 'money important or role?'). The second and third rounds were a technical and HR personal interview. The technical part was mostly HR-related, asking basic questions about past projects. The fourth round was an online assessment test done at home. It had QUANT (D.I) with 18 questions, ENGLISH with 30 questions, and a psychometry test, all considered average.
- Can you tell us about your family background?
- What are your reasons for joining SAM?
- Could you elaborate on your previous projects?
