The interview process was quite long, starting in Nov 2025. There were 2 interview rounds initially. The first one focused on a WTP question, and the second involved a director asking general questions. The final stage was in Jan 2026, which was an assessment with SQL questions. The questions themselves were simple, but unfortunately, I didn't perform well on them.

  • Did the director ask any general questions?

The interview process was super friendly and moved quickly with feedback provided promptly. It was an enjoyable experience overall. The timeline involved an online assessment in November, an HR call in December, and the final interview in January. The office atmosphere felt very motivated, and the interviewers were exceptionally friendly and offered insightful perspectives. The final interview consisted of a 1-hour preparation for a case study, followed by a 1-hour presentation to several senior associates and partners. Despite being intense, the process was well-guided and ultimately a very enjoyable experience.

Scheduling the interview online was easy. However, the interviewer was a bit late and was still eating. After a short conversation, she revealed the role was hybrid in NYC, which contradicted the remote listing everywhere else. I decided to end the interview then because I don't live near NYC. Just a heads up to be careful and confirm details important to you before interviewing. Ended up being a waste of time for everyone.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Would you be open to commuting to the NYC office multiple times daily?

The interview process involved one initial round and then three more rounds for the final stage. The first round was pretty standard for consulting interviews. However, the final round had some unusual case studies, including a few brain teasers, charts with data that I hadn't seen before, and really unconventional business problems. They really wanted to see how well you could think mathematically and pull out insights from the data. These final round interviews were pretty tough to get ready for, not like the usual case interviews.
