Analyst
Application submission led to an email from a pleasant recruiter within about a week. The interview proceeded on time and successfully. Three days after the HR call screening, a rejection letter was received.
- Could you please introduce yourself and share an instance where you managed a task under a tight deadline?
- Tell me about a time you worked on a project with a tight deadline.
Summer Analyst
First, there was a 45-minute zoom interview with a junior consultant. It had 20 minutes of behavioral questions and then a 25-minute case interview. Then the final round was way harder. It had a 15 minute online math test, and then 3 case interviews in a row, each 45 minutes long.
- Tell me about a major challenge you encountered and how you handled it.

The interview started with Associates introducing themselves. Then, they pulled out a pen and paper to test my math skills. They got very rude very quickly. It seemed like they were holding back from insulting me, but they were clearly getting mad and lost their composure. I managed to answer some questions, but eventually, they started interrupting me and wouldn't let me finish. We decided to end the interview together because they felt I wasn't a good fit, and I felt I couldn't work with people like that. It was the end of the day, maybe they were tired. Who knows. Still, I don't think that's a good excuse.
- Can you determine the angle at 11:40?
- How would you assess risk?
- What's your method for calculating standard deviation?
