The interview process involved one initial round and then three more rounds for the final stage. The first round was pretty standard for consulting interviews. However, the final round had some unusual case studies, including a few brain teasers, charts with data that I hadn't seen before, and really unconventional business problems. They really wanted to see how well you could think mathematically and pull out insights from the data. These final round interviews were pretty tough to get ready for, not like the usual case interviews.

Case Behavioral

You'll start with an online assessment that includes math problems. The first stage is a case study and behavioral questions with a consultant. Then, you'll have a second round with three different partners, involving three case/behavioral interviews. The difficulty of the final round really depends on the partners you meet, and it can be pretty tough conceptually.

Behavioral Case Presentation

Had 2 interviews, each lasting an hour. The interviews were pretty chill, felt more like a chat. The first was a Personal Fit interview. I had to prep a slide beforehand and was asked about why I chose Simon Kucher and my strengths. They really wanted to know about feedback from past internships. The second interview was a Case Study. The first part was about pricing and super numerical, involving a lot of mental math. The second part was a go-to-market case where I had to look at some charts. Then I got to ask my questions.

  • What positive and negative feedback have you received in your previous internships?
  • What pricing strategies are you familiar with?
