First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Prada.
Sales Assistant
It was a 3 interview process with HR, the retail director, and the store manager. They focused on personality more than just experience. It was pretty average, but it's always good to show your understanding of the brand, your passion for the brand DNA, and your ideas.
- What is your understanding of Prada?
- Can you tell me about a challenging client situation you encountered and how you resolved it?
Project Manager
So, after applying online, HR does a first screening to see if you're a good fit. Then, if they like you, you'll have an introductory call with HR where they'll ask about your education, work experience, and why you want to work for Prada. If that goes well, you'll have a technical or functional interview with the team manager to check your specific skills, how you solve problems, if you know the fashion industry, and your work style. Sometimes, they might give you an assessment center or a practical test, especially for creative or technical jobs. The last step is a final interview with a senior HR person or the department director, possibly in person or online. After that, you'll get official feedback and, if it's good, a job offer.
- Do you believe you possess leadership qualities?
Business Analyst
The interview included standard questions about experience and expectations and lasted about an hour. They explained the role, the team, and current projects. They mentioned work-life balance and stated that working hours are not very flexible. The interview was moved to the evening (8 PM) because management was unavailable.
- Why would you like to work with us?
- What is your work experience?
- How do you think you could contribute?
Client Advisor
The interview process started with a chat with the HR team, which was pretty straightforward. After that, I had a second interview with the store manager I'd be reporting to, which was a bit more challenging but not too difficult. During the HR interview, I was asked to introduce myself, explain my interest in the role, share my knowledge about the brand, and discuss my suitability for it, along with outlining the key duties of a client advisor. The meeting with the store manager involved similar questions like introducing myself, discussing my career aspirations, and my expectations regarding the job's workload.
- Tell me about yourself, and what motivated you to apply for this specific position?
- What insights do you have regarding our brand?
- In what ways do you believe you align well with our brand's values and image?
