First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Plante Moran.
Project Analyst Intern
Applied online in August and got an email about an interview in September. The first round was a phone screening that lasted about 30 minutes and was a great conversation. It was behavioral questions to see if I am a good fit. Weeks later was the final round interview for 3 hours. It was 3 separate back to back interviews with MDs or associates. Good conversations and behavioral questions. I was rejected by email weeks later.

Wealth Management Intern
It was a pretty simple and straightforward interview process. They asked basic questions about the markets, like how I stay updated and about a notable article I'd read. It felt like a serious interview, but it was definitely straightforward.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- How do you stay informed about the markets?
- What recent article caught your attention?
Consultant
The interview process was positive overall. The HR interview was on a Monday, and the final round was that Friday. The final round felt very positive, with everyone suggesting I'd hear back soon and that I was a great fit. However, three weeks later, my Workday account showed I wasn't selected. I had emailed my recruiter after two weeks for an update but got no response.

Senior Recruiter
The interview process was 3 rounds of interviews with various managers/team members. The manager let me know during the interview that PTO is given to all employees but due to how busy you will be in the position they said you won't be able to use any of it. The recruiter said they didn't want to move forward which I was like awesome, I did not want to move forward in the process either, the energy instantly changed and she was extremely offended, I told her why I didn't want to move forward and she said well we make this such a great place to work that you won't want to take off. Well now I am subscribed to emails about how it is such a great place to work, every time I unsubscribe I keep getting resubscribed to these emails. Beware of this company if you don't like petty people and situations. It's been months and I am still being resigned up lma0
- Can you describe any initiatives you've led or participated in at universities or similar institutions?
