First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pitney Bowes.
Software Engineer
It was a 30 minute call with the recruiter. They started by asking what questions I had for them. Then, they asked about my technical experience, what I look for in a company, and what qualities I look for in a manager. Finally, we talked about company goals and what the next steps are.

- What qualities do you look for in a manager?
Data and AI Engineer
It was a really professional three-stage hiring process. First, there was an initial chat about my experience, vision, and what I'm looking for. Then, a one-hour technical interview. All three chats were conducted professionally, without adding any pressure, and the questions were clear and well-thought-out. I'd definitely recommend this process, not just because I got through it, but because it was objectively done to a very high standard. I also got to ask a lot of my own questions during the whole thing.
- How would you handle a situation where your Python code needs to process a dataset that's too large to fit into your machine's available memory?
Analyst
I had an initial chat with the recruiter, then spoke with a credit officer, and then had two more interviews going up the chain all the way to the bank CEO. They really just wanted to know about my work experience and how it would fit this role. No tough questions or personality stuff. After 4 rounds and 3 follow-up emails I sent after the CEO interview (one to my potential boss and two to the recruiter), I heard nothing back. When I had my final interview with the CEO (almost a month after applying), I noticed the CEO had reposted the job on LinkedIn the day before.
- Can you describe your current responsibilities?
Account Executive
Had 6 quick interviews. The first 5, they said I was a great fit. Then I met with who I thought was the hiring manager, but apparently, he wasn't impressed and rescinded the offer. It's weird that a mid-level manager has that much say. Makes me question their hiring process. I'd recommend looking elsewhere so you don't waste your time like I did.
- Can you describe any particular deals you've successfully closed?
