The interview was mainly about my past experience and what the job expects. I learned it could be fast-paced with night shifts, which wasn't in the job description I applied for. After a tour, I was asked about my availability. I said next week. The hiring manager then said I'd better be relocating next week since they had other candidates to check out. This made me really concerned and felt like a potential red flag regarding settling-in time before starting work.

It was a casual interview. They asked me questions about equipment and my experience. I was shown around the facilities and the equipment I'd be working on. We discussed hours, days off, and holidays. We also talked about other things not related to the job. I met the manager, lead tech, facilities manager, and an HR person.

The interview was pretty laid back. I met with a few different people. We talked about what I've done in the past based on my resume. They asked me some basic stuff about my mechanical and electronic skills. Then they asked about my availability and what I expect from the job. Finally, they checked if anything would prevent me from doing the work.
