I had an initial chat with the recruiter, then spoke with a credit officer, and then had two more interviews going up the chain all the way to the bank CEO. They really just wanted to know about my work experience and how it would fit this role. No tough questions or personality stuff. After 4 rounds and 3 follow-up emails I sent after the CEO interview (one to my potential boss and two to the recruiter), I heard nothing back. When I had my final interview with the CEO (almost a month after applying), I noticed the CEO had reposted the job on LinkedIn the day before.

It started with a Zoom screening call, which was usually a panel interview. Then there were a bunch of in-person interviews with the Hiring Manager and other people.

So I applied for a Pricing Analyst role and went through the interview process. Communication could have been better, especially when closing the loop with candidates who aren't selected. First up was a recruiter screening a few days after I applied, pretty standard. Then, the following week, I had a call with the hiring manager. Most of that time was spent discussing the role itself, not so much my background, though they did say I met the qualifications. They also mentioned there were some internal candidates who were preferred. I appreciated that honesty. They said they'd let me know about the next steps the following week, but I didn't hear anything until a month later when I got an automated rejection email. I figured things out within a week of the second interview, but it would have been good to get that confirmation sooner.
