It wraps up with a Q&A where you both get to ask stuff to make sure you're on the same page and really want the job.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Technical Consultant
First, there was a simple phone call to cover basic questions. Then, a video call with the hiring manager and supervisor for some technical questions. After that, a second interview, face-to-face, with the supervisor of your team and another supervisor from the sales team.

System Engineer
This was basically a job offer after an interview that did not go well. The recruitment agency I was dealing with asked for my payslip and IC number, which are usually requested only when the contract is ready to be signed. However, the HR at PCCW stated that they never ask for these details from their recruitment agencies. There was clearly a major misunderstanding between them and their agency, which was quite disappointing.

Management Trainee
So, the interview process involved two main parts. First, they gave me a mini-business case specific to the industry, which was a tech-business hybrid task where I had to analyze user data and suggest ways to improve the business. Then, I had to do a presentation, for example, pitching a digital product idea aimed at Gen Z users.
- Could you share a project or experience that best shows your interest?
