The interview process was quite bad. The manager didn't show up for the interview and then messaged asking to reschedule, without even apologizing for standing me up. Later, there was another phase that required presenting a case study and creating the presentation, insights, and a Power BI dashboard (this for an internship role). They also asked technical SQL questions, and after all of that, I didn't receive any response about the process.

I did this in 2016, the HR team is great. The process had a quick response. Back then it was still in person, but the area manager wasn't receptive in the interview. I ended up feeling bad, especially because it was in person. However, I know friends who loved the Magalu process. So it must be perception or luck with whoever the person interviewed with. Mine was a while ago.

They asked me questions about my personal life, like if I'm married, if I have kids, if I have someone to look after them, and about my family setup. I didn't get any feedback, positive or negative, from the company. It felt like they just ignored me.

First, the recruitment team reviews your profile. There might be online tests for logic, specific knowledge, or behavioral assessment. The initial interview is usually with an HR recruiter. They'll want to understand your past experiences, skills, values, and see if you fit Magalu's culture (which likes teamwork, innovation, and good service). If it's for a store position (like sales, stock, or service), there might be a group activity. Candidates do simulated tasks to check communication, teamwork, proactivity, and leadership. After that, you'll talk to the hiring manager or supervisor. This part focuses on your technical skills, practical knowledge, and how you'd handle everyday situations. Questions might cover customer service, goals, and conflict resolution.
