The interview process was quite bad. The manager didn't show up for the interview and then messaged asking to reschedule, without even apologizing for standing me up. Later, there was another phase that required presenting a case study and creating the presentation, insights, and a Power BI dashboard (this for an internship role). They also asked technical SQL questions, and after all of that, I didn't receive any response about the process.

So, I went through the selection for the Jovem Aprendiz program at Magazine Luiza, and it was a pretty cool and different experience than I expected. I was a bit nervous at first, but I calmed down as we talked. The first part was all about me. They asked what I was studying, my interests, and why I wanted to join Magazine Luiza. I explained I'm in high school and want to learn about retail and how big companies operate. I also mentioned I like tech and was excited about a place that values it. Then, they asked about my skills. Since I'm new to work, I said I'm responsible, organized, and a quick learner. I also shared how I've helped with group projects at school, which taught me teamwork. A neat part was when they asked how I'd handle difficult customer situations, like an unhappy customer. I said I'd be empathetic, listen, and try to find a solution calmly and respectfully. They seemed to like my approach. Towards the end, they asked about my schedule and willingness to learn and adapt. I said I can balance work and study and am eager to start. Overall, it was a smooth interview, and I felt good leaving. A few days later, they called to say I got in, which made me so happy! It taught me a lot about interviews and how important clear communication and a learning attitude are.

This was the worst interview I've ever had, and I've even interviewed for telemarketing jobs. The recruiter seemed like she didn't want to be there, and when I answered her questions, she'd respond with mockery, giggling, and ironic eyebrow raises, just saying 'hm I see'. I'm looking to leave my current company, and when she asked why, I explained my reasons for wanting to join Magalu and showed I'd researched the company. However, that wasn't enough. She kept pressuring me, asking uncomfortable questions and seeking my personal opinion about my colleagues. She took my whole resume and twisted it into negatives to use against me during the interview. I might not have the perfect resume, but there's no need to treat someone looking for a job like that.
