Forklift Operator
I want to thank you for how you conducted the interview: it was respectful, clear, and attentive. You knew how to listen, explain everything calmly, and kept the environment light and professional. This shows preparation, education, and consideration for those participating in the process.
- What did you do during your leisure time?
Operations Supervisor
I had an onsite interview in October 2025. When I arrived at the security desk, they asked for my driver's license. I questioned this, stating that my driver's license contains personal information that shouldn't be shared before an offer is made, and offered my TWIC card instead, which is a federal ID requiring fingerprints. LyondellBasell insisted on the driver's license for me to proceed with the interview, so I provided it as I needed the job.
- Tell me about a time when you used the STAR method.
SAP Analyst
I got this job through my university, and honestly, the whole experience was pretty good. They had an HR person waiting outside, which I think was kind of a hidden test. He chatted with us casually, but I bet he was judging us the whole time. Anyway, he was chill, and it was a great experience overall.
- Regarding SAP, can you explain what it is, how simulation is used within it (specifically mentioning Tricentis and Tosca), and share your experience with real-life testing?
- What's an efficient way to take a number from a user and calculate the sum of all natural numbers up to that number?
- Could you write down the number represented by 'ten thousand ten hundred and ten'?
Intern
The interview lasted for one hour. They talked about my personal background and asked for my thoughts on the chemical industry, its future development, and ESG issues. They also shared information about the company's history, products, and culture.
- Could you tell me about your educational background?
- Can you describe your previous internship experiences?
- How would you describe your understanding of LYB's business?
