First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Louis Vuitton.
Project Assistant
After I applied, HR reached out to schedule a first interview. After that, they got in touch again to set up a second round, which included two interviews with the department head. Both interviewers were direct, asking typical questions to gauge my fit. At the end of the second round, they said they'd let me know in a week or two since they were interviewing five other candidates. Then... nothing. Over three weeks passed, and just a week before the start date, I got a generic rejection email saying they'd chosen others. For a company that values people, I got NO FEEDBACK and no personal email after preparing for three interviews, just a system response. LVMH, don't create false expectations about contacting candidates and then ghost them with a generic system reply. Humanize your candidates and DO BETTER!!

Contrôleur De Gestion
The interview process involved two stages: first with HR, then with the hiring manager. Reference checks were conducted. We discussed projects currently in place, the follow-up on these projects, and your accomplishments. We also inquired about your notice period and your ability to handle a heavy workload.

Store Manager
I interviewed with Louis Vuitton for what was presented as a Store Manager role. But, toward the end, the position was switched to Client Development Manager, without warning. They said the Store Manager role was filled internally and they were trying to get people looking for SM roles to fill the CDM role. After the interview, I was left hanging for almost two weeks with no news, even after I followed up professionally. Communication was bad the whole time. To make it worse, I got the rejection email at 9 PM on a Sunday, which was a thoughtless way to end a long and confusing process. With over 10 years in luxury retail, I expected better treatment and honesty from a brand like Louis Vuitton. It gave me a bad feeling about the company culture and how they treat potential hires.
- Can you describe your experience?
Digital Care Support Specialist
My interview experience for this role was pretty bad, very disorganized, and showed me this job and company weren't a good fit for what I'm looking for. The first call with the recruiter was kinda meh. They didn't seem very into it and didn't tell me much about the team or the job. That's when I found out the shifts were different from what was posted. Even so, I kept going and got a quick interview with the hiring manager. I got there early, but another candidate was already running late for their slot. While I was waiting, the security staff were really dismissive and unprofessional, which left a bad impression before anything even started. The hiring manager showed up more than 30 minutes late, wasn't ready, and didn't seem to know my background. It was obvious the job was entry-level and not what my resume suggested. At first, they brushed off my customer service experience because it wasn't in luxury, but when I talked about my corporate background and working with important clients, they seemed to change their tune. Even though the chat ended better, the initial impression was already made. The hiring manager's early attitude made me feel like I'd be put down, doubted, or not valued in the role. By the end, I'd already decided I wasn't interested. No matter if they saw me as a threat or an advantage, I knew this wasn't a place where I'd get respect or have a good chance to succeed.
