Behavioral Group Presentation

I went through a phone interview with HR. After that, I did a group interview with about ten people. It had two parts: first, they showed us a video of the brand, and we had to react and comment on it. We did role-playing games in groups where we had to quickly come up with a boutique concept and a logo. The group was split into two teams, and one person was chosen to switch groups and debrief on what was discussed in the other. The goal was to put us in a stressful situation to see our reactions, concentration, and self-control. Working in department stores can be stressful due to high customer traffic and hurried clients. In the second part, an HR employee interviewed me individually to present myself and discuss my motivations.

You'll have 2 or 3 interviews, with at least 2 of them in person. You'll meet with the store's Director and the HR representative. The interviews won't necessarily be at the store you'd be working at. Each interview will last about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Behavioral Presentation Other

I was contacted by recruiters and the process involved at least 3 interviews with the HR department, but I didn't get past those until the interview with the shop manager. They have high expectations, but they're in line with what the brand requires. The people at the Paris head office were very nice and welcoming. For this job, you absolutely need to know about fashion trends, designers, and the etiquette of luxury sales. What I didn't like is that the interviewers seemed to already know what they wanted to hear. It felt like it was more about testing my knowledge of LV and fashion designers than getting to know me and my experience. The first step was a phone call, about 30 minutes, asking about my background and brand knowledge, with one question in English. Then, an interview with two HR people at the Paris head office, and if that went well, a third interview with the shop manager. The whole hiring process was very quick and responsive; I got a call the same afternoon my CV was sent by recruiters, the first interview was 2 days later, and the final interview was supposed to be the day after that.
