Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Louis Vuitton.
Intern
First, there was a phone call with HR where they asked general questions about me. Then, a second, more specific interview with the manager of the relevant area, who asked more specific and personal questions about my past experiences and my attitude towards work.
- What are your personal interests related to the world of art and fashion?
Intern
It was simple and laid back, held in the LV office's conference room. Smart casual was alright, no formal dressing was needed. Additional documents might be asked, so prepare ahead. Try to Google your possible boss before the interview, it might be helpful. I had a feeling that they are always in need of interns, but they hate interns leaving before finishing their contract; so, make sure you can stay as the contract stated or else don't make a commitment.
- Can you tell me about your Mandarin skills?
Intern
The interview process was pretty casual, sometimes professional. The hiring manager seemed clear about things and everything felt okay during the interview. Just be ready for anything unexpected. Depending on who you talk to, their background and experience will vary. Talking to different people in the office can give you a better sense of what the company is like.
- Are you aware of the responsibilities associated with this role?
