It was a simple phone interview process and it went pretty well. They mentioned I'd hear back the following week, but it took them a month to send an automated email saying I didn't get the job. If you say you're going to do something, you should do it. When conducting an interview, have the courage to tell candidates they didn't get the job; that's really the only tough part of your role. Providing closure is good for everyone involved.

The interview process was organized and professional. I had great conversations discussing the role, the business, and the brands. They are clearly passionate about the brand. The office location was okay, nothing special. Everyone I met was very welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience.

So the normal interview process was pretty standard. We started with introductions and just getting to know each other. They wanted to know why I was interested in the role. Then there were some behavioral questions. After that, I had a second interview, which was with the hiring manager. They were really positive, but it's a competitive field.
