Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lindt & Sprüngli.
Intern
The hiring process was pretty straightforward and the company communicated well throughout. I had conversations with three individuals before they made a decision. It was a good overall experience, though it turned out the HR department and the hiring team weren't completely aligned on the candidate when it came time for the final offer.
- Could you describe your current research?
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
Intern
I had a phone call interview, which was a really fluid and pleasant conversation. They clearly explained the company and its benefits. The next and final stage was a case study, where I had to prepare a one-hour PowerPoint presentation. After that, there was a personal introduction via Microsoft Teams. The people there were really nice and friendly.
- Tell me about your previous work experience and your role in it.
Intern
It was an uncomfortable situation because four marketing managers from four different departments (seasonal goods, chocolate bars, etc.) participated. And for an internship, four people sat opposite one candidate. The mood was generally not relaxed but rather strict.
- Which of us four marketing managers would you prefer to work with for your internship?
