The interview was in person. They checked basic background information and my availability. I met with the manager for about 20 minutes. I was in high school at the time (2019) and had been hired seasonally for Christmas at the flagship store. After the holidays, they asked if I wanted to stay on, and I did! It was the best team I've worked with, everyone was fun and we got along great despite our differences.

Had a 20-minute phone call with a recruiter from a Toronto-based firm. The recruiter was nice and mentioned that if I got picked for an in-person interview, I should dress in business attire and learn about the company beforehand. I was hoping to get a callback because I love chocolate, but I never heard back. Maybe it's for the best for my waistline.
