First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LaSalle Network.
Business Development Manager
The interview process was thorough and consisted of 3 steps with leadership, I also worked with an external recruiting company who also conducted an initial phone screen with me and coordinated preliminary interviews before I was presented to LaSalle.
- Can you describe your prior experience selling to enterprise clients?
Administrative Assistant
I applied for an Administrative Assistant role through LinkedIn. I got a call to schedule an interview, but something felt off. It turned out they used the LinkedIn job posting to lure people they weren't considering into a general contract and contract-to-hire interview, which is typical for their recruiting agency. The interview itself was awkward, mostly because I kept wondering why it was set up that way. The interviewer didn't seem very interested in my work history, interrupted me when I was answering open-ended questions that she probably just needed to check off her list, and generally made me feel like just another number for her quota rather than a person. I can't say if they're good at placing people, but I definitely didn't feel comfortable working with their agency at all after the interview.
- Can you provide a general overview of your position?
Recruiting Manager
I interviewed with the hiring manager first, and then the recruiter contacted me afterwards, which felt a bit out of sequence. The manager was really great – engaging, thorough, and responsive. However, the recruiter never followed up with any feedback on our interview. I actually found out my application wasn't moving forward from a Workday status update email before she even reached out. I had to chase her multiple times for an update, and then she finally told me they were no longer considering my application. This whole process dragged on for over a month. The recruiter's follow-up was pretty poor, making for a negative overall experience.
- Can you discuss your past experience?
Recruiter Associate
It was a long and tough process. Recruiters called before the interview to give a pep talk and a preview of what to expect. After the interview, they called again for feedback and to ask about your other external interviews. I had several scheduled calls with VPs and Managers that felt more like chats to assess my personality rather than steps towards a job offer. The final round was a panel presentation to 8-10 executives where they asked about my character and understanding of the role. The whole experience involved 7 calls/interviews over 1.5 months, but I didn't get the job.
- Can you list the 10 positions you will be recruiting for?
- Describe your character and how it would be an asset in a recruitment position.
