Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LaSalle Network.
Analyst
My first interview was with a recruiter trainee and her supervisor. The trainee asked the questions while her supervisor observed. It felt like a training session for the recruiter rather than an interview for me. They seemed more focused on the trainee practicing interviewing skills than assessing me as a candidate.
- How did you discover our company?
Billing Analyst
I had a good interview with a professional and knowledgeable person who answered my questions and offered to help me find a job if possible. They explained the process and asked me to complete an application after I submitted my resume. I don't expect much from this opportunity, but I'm glad I met them because I got to practice my interview skills and receive some feedback. They also answered general questions about interviews. I'm not sure if this experience reflects the whole company or just this specific recruiter, as I've encountered some very unpleasant recruiters from temporary agencies before, making me hesitant to work with one again.
- Can you tell me about other jobs you've applied for and what attracted you to them?
Analyst
The interview process was pretty easy. Everyone was upfront and honest. I talked to the recruiter on the phone the whole time, and they let me know what was happening at every stage. It was very direct. The first interview felt pretty casual, but it was a good opportunity to show the firm what I could bring to the table.
- Could you handle a stress interview scenario?
