The interview process with LaSalle was much more comprehensive and in-depth than the majority of other similar positions I applied and interviewed for with competing companies. Everything about the LaSalle Network is about their employees, so it makes sense that the interview process was multi-faceted and took over a month to complete. While a tad frustrating during the process, it simply is to ensure the candidate is the right fit for LaSalle's renowned culture and workplace. I had three or four phone interviews, a Skype interview, a research paper and powerpoint presentation, an in-person interview in the Chicago office with four different people, and finally another Skype interview before I received an offer.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The people were really friendly and approachable. Each interviewer seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me better. I genuinely enjoyed talking to everyone I met. They were also really good about getting back to me promptly, responding during the day, at night, and even on weekends if I reached out. After every interaction, I felt really positive and eager to continue with the hiring process. My final interview with the CEO, Tom Gimbel, was unique because it felt more like a natural conversation than a typical interview. Unlike other companies where interviews feel like rapid-fire script reading, this was very personal and made me feel wanted.
