The HR did an initial phone screen, then I had a meeting with the hiring manager that lasted 30 minutes. About a week or two after that, they invited me for an onsite interview which was scheduled from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. The onsite included a 2-hour presentation with a Q&A session, followed by a tour. After lunch, I met with the HR and the leadership team.

I was contacted by phone to confirm my availability for an online interview session. The interview was conducted entirely in English via Google Meet with a senior person from the department. It was an enjoyable and casual experience, though I made sure to be presentable. I was asked to walk through my resume and then show relevant projects I had completed during university.

Behavioral Technical

The interview was online and I met with two people: my potential supervisor and the manager of the research division there. It felt more like a relaxed chat than a formal interview, which was nice. The whole thing went smoothly and was organized, with good communication beforehand and no tech problems. They were both friendly and asked good questions about my background and what I'm interested in. They also told me about what the team is working on and how they work. It seemed like they were trying to see if I'd be a good fit, and I could also see if it was a good fit for me.

The process started with an application, followed by a recruiter call to learn more about me. Then there was an interview with the recruiter. After that, I interviewed with the finance head about competencies. Finally, I had an interview with a panel of 3 people: HR and 2 finance technical interviewers. The interviews lasted about 30 minutes. The interviewers were very cold and didn't smile at all, which made me feel uneasy during a quite daunting process. I wouldn't recommend it. When I got rejected, I didn't even mind because it was a very poor introduction to the company.
