It was a really good experience with JM. Started with a phone call with a few managers, which was a bit intimidating, but they were really nice and understood. They wanted to see what I knew about JM and gauge my knowledge. Being nervous was okay as long as I knew my stuff and came across well. About 5 days later, I got an email for a face-to-face interview. HR was super helpful and prepared me well. The interview involved a presentation of my research, and they asked questions during and after, plus some questions on catalysis. The next interview was more 'management' focused, asking about my goals, my knowledge of JM, what I don't like about my current job, what I'm looking for, and my 5-year plan. We finished with a site tour, and everyone was friendly, making me feel like they wanted me to succeed. They stressed they weren't trying to trick me and that note-taking was normal. Overall, a very positive experience!

The interview process had several stages, and it concluded with panel interviews. I didn't get any feedback even after completing the gradcracker pledge about getting feedback if I reached the interview stage.

Applied online and had two interviews. First was a phone interview. Two weeks later, I went to Johnson Matthey for another interview, which had two parts: a technical and a non-technical one, each lasting 1.5 hours. The interviews went very smoothly.
