First a TA will reach out, then we'll set up the technical rounds. There will be 3 technical rounds and then an HR round. The first round will be with the team lead, the second with the hiring manager, and the third with the hiring director.

Technical

That's frustrating! It sounds like there was a significant disconnect between what the HR representative prepared you for and the actual interview. Being told to focus on database skills, only to be questioned extensively about languages not listed on your resume, indicates a lack of communication or a poorly defined role. This kind of experience can be discouraging, as it feels like your preparation was wasted and your skills were misjudged. It's important to remember that this reflects more on the company's process than your abilities.

So first there's this call with the recruiter, just to chat about your background and see if you're a fit. After that, they give you a coding test to check your skills. If you pass that, you'll do a live coding interview where you solve problems on the spot. This is to see how you think and code. Then, if all goes well, you'll have a call with the team you might join. It's a chance for everyone to see if it's a good match.

Behavioral Other

I GOT GHOSTED AFTER THEY SAID I'LL GET AN OFFER. The hiring at Ivalua is terrible, all the bad reviews are true. I finished three interview rounds (recruiter, panel, and executive) and they told me an offer was coming. The recruiter got my info and asked for two references for background checks, which I gave him. He asked when I could start and confirmed my start date! He even told me to stop other interview processes because I was getting an offer. I waited for the offer letter but it never came. I tried contacting him the next week but only got his voicemail. My emails were also ignored. Then I saw the same job on LinkedIn, being advertised again by Ivalua. The job was reposted and promoted 4 days before. I've never seen such unprofessionalism in my 7 years of experience. This feels like a complete waste of my time. My advice to others is to avoid this company.
