The interview process involved a few initial stages. First, there was a recruiter call to discuss basic qualifications and fit. This was followed by a phone screen where I was asked a series of questions to gauge my experience and suitability for the Analyst role.

The interview process started with a 30-minute phone call, then an Excel skills assessment. After that, I had an interview with the hiring manager and two separate one-hour panel interviews. Throughout the process, I kept asking about when a decision would be made and when the hiring would happen, but nobody seemed to know the exact plans. I got through all the rounds and was told I'd hear back in two weeks. I followed up twice but never got a response. It felt like a waste of my time, and I wouldn't recommend interviewing with this company.

Behavioral Technical

I had a 15-minute phone screening, followed by a 30-minute chat with the hiring manager. Then, three interviews happened back-to-back with people who are or were on the team. The whole process was okay, but communication was bad, like the recruiter ghosted me for over two weeks after the last interview. Then someone else told me I didn't get the job, and I found out the recruiter quit. It was a not-great experience because of the silence.

So, there were 3 meetings in total. The first one had the team leader, a data scientist, and the HR consultant. We chatted about my general experience and the tech I've used. It was kinda weird though, the HR person asked about my salary expectations with the team I'd be working with right there. Then, the second meeting was all technical. They hit me with some detailed technical questions. A senior technical manager from the US joined, so it was in English. That technical interview was pretty good. The last one was with HR again, and it was meh, kinda negative. The HR consultant was a bit passive-aggressive sometimes. I left feeling unsure about the work environment, even though the other interviews went fine.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you discuss standard data science questions regarding algorithms and evaluation metrics?
  • What big data frameworks are you familiar with?
