So I sent in my CV and references, and then within a day or two, I got invited for a HireVue interview. They explained how it worked, and you could re-record each of the three questions up to three times. The very next day, I had an online chat with the two folks I'd be working with, and it was mostly about if I'd fit in and what the job involved. I got an offer two days after that. Everyone was super nice and professional, which made me feel good about the team and company. All in all, I was really happy with how the hiring went, and I liked that they communicated quickly and clearly.

I did an online interview, then a project, and finally an in-person interview. I got the job. I quit my job and spent 3 months preparing to relocate from the UK to Germany. I ended subscriptions, sorted out my flat, and arranged new insurances and accommodation in Germany. One week before I left the UK, I had a short meeting with Hugo Boss HR who told me my new contract was cancelled due to a hiring freeze. I am now unemployed.

I applied for the apprenticeship through a written application. Once my application was accepted, I completed some online quizzes and recorded three short videos where I answered different questions. Then, I was invited to a Welcome Day at the company headquarters, along with three other candidates. During this day, I had the opportunity to meet many people from Human Resources and also my future trainer. The vibe was really nice and friendly. We worked on small projects, did a short trial session, and even ate a meal together. It was a great experience. They mentioned we'd get feedback soon. About a week later, I got the call that I was accepted! I was so happy, I couldn't believe it! Before starting, I also attended a pre-boarding day to get to know the other new apprentices. I've just finished my first week, which was filled with introductions, team building, and learning. The start has been fantastic, and I'm really looking forward to my apprenticeship as a tailor.
