The interview was about 45 minutes to an hour. I asked a lot of questions. It started with some basic get to know you questions, then moved on to 3 basic questions all in the STAR format: What is a project you've worked on and what was your engineering process. Name a time you've collaborated with somebody. Something else I don't remember.

  • Tell me about a time you collaborated with someone.

It was a pretty friendly interview, with two people: one HR lady and one engineering guy. Since I'm in mechatronics, they asked me one mechanical technical question about troubleshooting a leak, and an electrical question involving solving a DLS-style problem.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Could you tell me about the real-world tools you've used, both electrical and mechanical/handyman related?
  • How would you troubleshoot a leak?
  • Can you solve this DLS style question?

Behavioral Presentation Other

Terrible experience, left me with a very negative impression of Honda. None of the interviewers had their camera on (unbelievably rude). I was the only one. They asked standard questions and told me I needed to answer in the STAR manner. No questions for me. Ending with 'This is what you need to do for us??' and then telling me to provide them notes from this interview. The arrogance of this group was unparalleled. Little wonder the place is a revolving door.

Behavioral Technical

It was pretty straightforward. I was interviewed by two people I already knew from my summer internship. They asked about my environmental and sustainability involvement. It wasn't too technical since I hadn't taken many of those classes yet, but I handled it okay. The work experience itself was amazing and I learned a ton in those 12 weeks.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you describe a time you demonstrated leadership within an environmental setting?
