So the interview process started with a recruiter call, which was mainly just an intro chat. Then I had a chat with the AI Lead. He asked about my background and experience and told me about the projects the team is working on. After that, I was given a take-home technical assignment. I had some questions while working on it but didn't get a response at the time.

It was a 2 stage process, first with the hiring manager and scrum master, then with the CTO and CUO. The interviews were set up really quickly, within a week of each other. I actually enjoyed talking to everyone, it felt like a two-way street where I could interview them too. The downside was that I didn't hear back for weeks after the second interview, which left me in limbo. They kept giving reasons why they hadn't decided, and in the end, they went with other candidates.

The whole recruitment thing starts with you filling out an application on their careers site, and then they'll shoot you an email asking you to do a video interview where you record yourself answering questions. If they like your answers, you'll get invited for an online interview, and then an Assessment Centre (which is in person).

There were 4 rounds in total. The first round was with the hiring manager and a senior underwriter, focusing on competency questions. The second round was an online assessment using Watson Glaser. The third round involved two people from other departments, covering both competency and technical questions. The final round was with the divisional head. I didn't make it past the third round. Practicing for the online assessment is definitely recommended. The interviewers were really friendly and professional.
