Just did an OA and then the first round. First round was a 30 minute behavioral and then a 30 minute technical I think (could’ve been an hour each I don’t remember). OA was really easy, and the technical was a step up but still not too bad. I’m pretty sure I didn’t move forward because of how I answered the behavioral questions, but also my behavioral interviewer was super unprofessional so I honestly didn’t really care that I didn’t move forward.

Role for ABP in the Data Centers. I applied, passed the GHA, and didn’t hear any updates, so I reached out to the recruiter and we scheduled a phone screen. I then proceeded to the first round interview with an admin. It was not a great experience. She was slightly rude and quite condescending. She had this attitude like she was better than everyone. She was asking hypothetical questions and I responded with concrete examples of how I handled the exact situation in the past. She said okay but I said hypothetically, how would you handle this? Let me repeat the question. She was not interested in hearing concrete examples of how I handled that exact situation. The entire 30 minutes was weird and I was relieved to disconnect that Google Meet. Glad it didn’t work out. If she is any indication of what the culture, people, and work environment is like within Google Data Centers, then I definitely don’t want to work there.

2 intern interview rounds, 30 min each and then did an additional 30 min callback interview. Great experience and lots of resource documents to prep using the interview Gemini tool. Very to the point, very work style / behavioral questions asked. Have to give a personality and a story about yourself in concise behaviorals, was asked 1 technical in my extra round about what I'd do with a project delay.

My Google interview was a 45-minute session with pretty difficult hypothetical questions. They asked me stuff like how I make sure a design is accurate, how I’d handle procurement problems, and how I’d assess materials for construction. It was definitely a tough interview. Then, about three weeks later, they told me I wasn’t moving to the next stage, and the recruiter had a feedback call with me, which was actually really nice and helpful.
