I had an interview process a couple months ago. The team was mostly kind except I could tell even though I did well in the interviews that I didn’t get the job because one employee acted very casual during the interview – she didn’t ask me follow up questions, did the interview from her couch in sweatpants and a sweatshirt, and wasn’t really paying attention to me.

Behavioral Case

This was honestly the worst interview experience I’ve ever had—super unprofessional and disrespectful. The interviewer never introduced herself, didn’t even mention her name, and gave no context at all about the role or the team. During the whole interview, she felt extremely impatient, arrogant, and dismissive. After asking her questions, she didn’t leave any time for Q&A and just hung up the call directly. I really can’t believe this is the level of professionalism from a senior Google employee. I’ve interviewed with Google before, with other interviewers and even senior leaders, and those experiences were totally fine. But this one was really shocking—the worst by far. The interviewer was from the Mid-Market GCS maybe Shanghai team, a woman with glasses and a hat, and what looked like short hair. I hope others don’t have to go through the same thing.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • 1、share an experience where you used data to solve a customer problem
  • 2、how would you help someone to start and open a bakery
