Der Ablauf des Vorstellungsgesprächs für die Praktikantenstelle war klar und gut strukturiert. Zuerst fand ein kurzes Telefoninterview statt, danach folgte ein persönliches Gespräch mit dem Teamleiter. Die Fragen waren praxisnah und passend zu den Aufgaben im Praktikum. Besonders positiv war die offene Atmosphäre und dass man eigene Fragen stellen konnte. Insgesamt wirkte alles professionell und gut organisiert.

Interview process was pretty straightforward. You get assigned a recruiter who gives you guides and advice to help you prep for the interview. My internship interview at that time was for a Technical Account Manager role with their team in Chicago. I interviewed with the Head of Technical Account Management and their Sales counterpart, so two interviews total before they gave me the offer. The first interview was a mix of behavioral and situational questions, and the second interview was mainly a case study style interview. Overall, I had a positive experience with everyone I interacted with during the process, and I’d say the interview process wasn’t super difficult.

In December, I got a message on LinkedIn from a Google recruiter. Honestly, I thought it was fake and ignored it. A month later, she messaged again, and I still didn’t respond. I’m not proud of that, and I still don’t know what I was thinking. Then I got two missed calls from Google Recruiting, one on the 10th and another on the 21st of January. I finally picked up on the 24th, three days after the second call. The recruiter asked if I had five minutes, introduced herself, and walked me through some open roles. I said I was interested. She asked about my interests, the tech stacks I’ve worked on, and how I’d rate myself in DSA. I said 8.5 out of 10. She also asked about the kind of work I do at my current company and when I’d be free for interviews. The call was around 16 minutes long. Right after that, I got the prep materials, the schedule, and an invite to a mock interview group. Usually, they give three weeks to prepare for the first round, but I was given two. The phone screen was set for February 5th, from 2:00–2:45 PM. Because of a personal emergency, I had to reschedule it, and it was moved to February 7th, 8:00–8:45 PM.
