First, you'll have a chat with a recruiter who isn't technical. Then, there's a technical interview with someone who really knows their stuff in your area. They'll want you to do a 20-minute presentation about a project you've worked on (and you can actually get some feedback on your slides from an Edison engineer beforehand if you want). They'll ask super specific questions about everything you did. The last part is an in-person interview at their place in Niskayuna, NY.

There was a tech/location check (online: camera/mic, in-person: reception). Small talk with HR/Recruiting, then waiting time. Introduction round (roles of participants). The agenda & duration (e.g., 45–60 min.) were explained. Tell me briefly about yourself – your journey, key projects, reasons for changing jobs, and motivation for the role/company. The interviewer checked for fit, communication skills, and clarity.

If you are free then go for it, They will not hire you for sure but you will definitely get some confident because interviewers are knowledgeable. There were 2 rounds on same day both went pretty well. I got a call next day from Hr. he told will he be scheduling the interview for manager and HR round. I didn't get any invite and after following up multiple times and after multiple calls. He told me position is on HOLD. Same happened with one of my friend also.

The interview process started with a couple of phone interviews with a team member and the manager. Following that, I was invited for an all-day on-site interview. They covered my travel to Albany airport. The day began with breakfast with a team member, then a 1-hour technical presentation to about 10 people on a topic of my choice. After the presentation, there were two 1-hour technical interviews where the interviewers asked questions related to my presentation as well as general mechanical engineering topics like structural design and manufacturing. We had lunch, during which I met with two other managers to discuss their work and work-life balance. The afternoon included a meeting with HR for standard STAR questions, a meeting with a Principal Engineer, and a meeting with the Technology Leader. The day concluded with a final discussion with my potential manager.
