We started with a 30-40 minute phone call to go over some technical stuff. Then, for the on-site part, I had a 1-hour tech seminar where I presented my graduate school work. After that, there was a 1-hour in-depth technical review with about 3-4 people. Finally, I had individual meetings with lab managers, project leaders, principal engineers, and HR.

Make sure your CV matches the job posting or don't bother applying. The first chat is with HR - you need to sound 'hireable', say what they want to hear, be formal but enthusiastic. Good English is a must. It's a plus if you know something about GE. Then there's an interview with your potential manager. You can be more yourself here, but get ready for some technical questions about your experience.
