Applied through the web. Got rejected for that specific job after a month, but they reached out again almost three months later. The initial call involved simple questions mainly to confirm my resume details. They asked me to email an updated resume and call back. On the same day, I had a one-hour technical interview. This was followed by another appointment the next day for rounds of technical interviews and a technical presentation, and finally, an HR interview, which is where I messed up.

The hiring manager emailed me a few days after I applied and invited me for a phone interview. The call lasted about an hour and was mostly about a detailed job description and questions about my past research. A few weeks later, I got an invitation for the main interview, including the schedule and a request to prepare a presentation. They also recommended a hotel nearby and promised full reimbursement for travel costs. The main interview was 6 weeks after the phone call and had 4 parts: My presentation, a personality chat, a technical discussion, and a meeting with HR and the CEO. The technical part was quite tough, but the rest was easy. Overall, the atmosphere felt tense and not very open, and I was disappointed not to be shown the offices or labs.

First, I had a phone screening where they asked about my technical skills mentioned on my CV. About two weeks later, I was invited for an on-site interview. The on-site involved a technical presentation followed by an hour-long technical interview. The tech interview was pretty tough. A lot of the questions focused on the credibility of my work, which was quite annoying. They seemed to have a biased conclusion from the start, like they had a preconceived notion. Also, just so you know, not everyone at GE GRC has a PhD or Master's.
