I interviewed for a TPRM Role and went through three rounds. The first round was a walkthrough of my current role and why I wanted to switch jobs. The second round focused on why I wanted to join EXL and what my experience in TPRM entailed. The interviewer in this round was quite rude and seemed distracted. The third round was with the Director of their TPRM Process. This interviewer was also very rude, attacking basic questions I had about night shifts and timings. They stated that shifts have no fixed times, may require extensions without extra pay, and that there's no work-life balance, with expectations higher than the pay.

So, there were three main steps to the interview. First, I chatted with HR, which was pretty chill. They mainly wanted to get a general sense of the job, what they were looking for, and my background. Then, I met with the hiring manager. This part was all about reporting – how I've built them before and my experience with data. Lastly, I had a session with the team leaders. They were really nice and seemed to be checking if my vibe and how I work would fit in with their team.

The interview had 3 main rounds. Round 1 was a tech discussion, about 1.5 hours, covering Python, SQL, Cloud (AWS/GCP), AI/ML, DL, NLP, Gen AI, DevOps, MLOps, Rest API, and Spark optimization in detail. Round 2 was with the VP, around 50 minutes, with 30 mins of tech concepts and 30 mins of behavioral and managerial questions about my past experience. Round 3 was a face-to-face interview, about an hour, with intermediate Python and SQL questions, plus questions on LLM workflow, RAG, Vector DBs, and embeddings. Lastly, there was a salary discussion.

The first stage was a technical interview covering Dialogflow basics like intents, entities, context, and simple webhook integration. We also talked about Python basics, including data types, operators, control flow, loops, lists, dictionaries, and general scripting. GenAI fundamentals were discussed too, focusing on how AI improves chatbots without going deep into LLM architectures.
