It was a really easy process. First, there was a quick 10-minute chat to get to know me and the role. Then, they passed my info to the client. After that, the client set up interviews with me, and the company kept me updated throughout.

First, we discussed job details that would be submitted to a company they staff via email. Then, they asked me to provide i9 during the submission process. It felt really sketchy and weird. They then treated people like they were stupid and said they were required by law to do this. An employee provides all of this info upon accepting an offer and filing out paperwork. It's disgusting how sketchy this company has become. They have not been sued for this? Horrible!

They emailed me asking to resubmit info that I already sent, along with the last four digits of my SSN and birthdate, to get my resume into their database. I told them about my security worries and asked if they could use a different identifier for their tracking until I'm officially hired and fill out the 1099 and other forms, but they said no. They mentioned they couldn't represent me if I didn't provide the info. I thought it was weird that a company asking for this kind of sensitive info didn't have a secure HTTPS link or portal to store it.

I applied and was interviewed for a recruiter position at Creative Circle. It's a decent company, but their process for candidates they don't move forward with is terrible. They make you do lots of phone interviews and email exchanges. It wastes your time and lets new hires practice their interviewing skills on potential candidates. They're not really thinking about the company's success. It's pretty typical of how things are now, especially after Covid-19.
