I went in for an in person registration where we discussed my background and what I was looking for. They mentioned an opening they thought I'd be a good fit for, and I was interested. The interviewer brought up something not on my resume, and I think she mixed me up with someone else. Then, we moved on, but the job they initially described had changed to something different, so I was no longer considered. I stayed in touch for months, but never heard back from my contact.
