First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Enova.
Team Lead
Recruiter call with a mini case, followed by a virtual round with the hiring manager where they did a case study and a behavioral interview. The final in-person round included two case studies and two behavioral interviews with five different interviewers.

It was a 100% online process, which is very advantageous. It was fast in the first two stages, but then they took a very long time to confirm if I passed to the next one, which is exhausting for someone desperately looking for a job. I reached the final stage and was not approved. The first 3 interviews were in Portuguese, and the last one was with the team from the US, so it was entirely in English. I liked that they have an optimized process and a system where you can choose which days and times you are available for an interview. The only thing I didn't like was the delay and the number of stages. But it's okay, it was good that in the meantime I found another job.

Strategy and Operations Associate
I wish I had good things to say about interviewing at Enova, but I was really unhappy with how it went. My first interview was a phone call with a Senior Recruiter, and it went fine, but I was surprised it included a case study right away. I had practiced case studies beforehand, so I was okay, but still surprised. I got to the second round with the hiring manager, and they said this interview would be about my work behavior and skills for the job. They also said it would give me plenty of time to ask detailed questions about the role and department. The interview started about six minutes late because the hiring manager was tardy. He didn't seem interested in my background but instead used the time to go over a second case study. I have to point out that neither interview mentioned a case study beforehand, so I was shocked again. The hiring manager asked questions really specific to their business instead of asking things that would show problem-solving skills. He gave me about five minutes to ask questions and didn't offer much clarity on the company's culture and values. The interview ended, and I was glad to be done with him. If I had moved on to the next rounds in person, I would have turned them down because I couldn't work with someone who didn't seem to care about getting to know the candidates. From what I've read in other interview reviews, this is likely the same person.
- How would you assess the potential profitability for Enova of acquiring company X?
Data Scientist
So basically, you apply, then they look at your resume and do a quick phone call to see if you're a fit. If you pass that, they might give you a take-home test or some other kind of assessment to check your skills. After that, you'll have interviews, either online or in person, with different people on the team, like your potential manager and colleagues. Sometimes, you might even talk to higher-ups for a final chat to make sure you're on the same page with the company's vision. If everything goes well, they'll offer you the job, and then you get started with the onboarding.
- Could you walk me through an assessment you did related to pricing and the decision-making process for a purchase?
