Human Resources
The process was great, nothing to report, everything was very good. I understood everything and the manager was nice. The job was well described and I understood everything, so I really recommend it.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Tell me about your experience.
- Describe your soft skills and technical skills.
Manager
When you go in for an interview you are most likely nervous but with my experience it was a welcoming interview and you can ask any questions you have about what your job will be and what it is about. The interviewer will be trying to see what kind of person you are and to see if you will be a good fit for the Company. Just try to breathe and be yourself. Claire's is a unique company and fun to work for, try it out for yourself.
- Would you be alright with wearing Claire's product and also piercing for any age from baby to grandmother?
Intern
For Claire's, the interview process typically involves two virtual stages. The first interview, lasting between 30 to 60 minutes, is conducted by HR. This session focuses on getting to know the candidate, reviewing their resume, and assessing cultural fit, with behavioral questions to understand how you handle various situations. The second interview is with the hiring manager, also about 30 to 60 minutes. This session dives deeper into the specifics of the role, evaluating your technical or job-related skills, problem-solving abilities, and how you would approach tasks relevant to the position.
- Can you walk me through your resume and explain your relevant background?
Concessions Merchandiser
I applied on the company website and heard back from a recruiter the same day to set up a phone screening. It was an easy interview where they just went over the job and the scheduling. They said I was moving on and that the manager would contact me to schedule the next interview. However, I never heard back. I reached out to see if they were still interested in moving forward but got no response. I ended up accepting another position and withdrew my application. Just a heads-up to keep looking and interviewing even if they say you're hired, as they might not be very organized with their hiring.
- Could you tell me about your previous role?
- Are you currently employed?
- Have you ever worked with a planogram?
