I got to chat with a few folks from the team, and they all had different viewpoints. They asked me a bunch of questions, touching on different parts of the job, my abilities, and how I'd handle certain problems. It was a good way to get a feel for how the team works and what they're looking for in this role.

The interview itself was fine. The recruiter asked me questions regarding my background and experiences. Questions about school, and my internship experience, etc. The pre-interview process however, was a headache and a nuisance. I scheduled 3 pre-interviews with the HR rep (who reached out to me because they was interested in ME) and each time an interview was scheduled, the HR rep would ghost me and not call. I had to follow up and chase the rep down just to complete the pre-interview screening/ questionnaire. Finally, after multiple follow up emails, voicemails, and even phone calls I was able to complete the pre-interview and advanced to the actual interview. The actual interview was easy, like stated above the questions were typical interview questions, I was asked to complete a follow up interview to describe my observations of the Claire's store. I provided my observations very clear and thorough... I then was asked to advise of any "prints, patterns, or textiles that were not being represented in the store" (in which I found this question to be extremely odd and a honestly a stretch considering Claire's only sells like 3 backpacks) All in all, after experiencing the pre-interview headache, I can only imagine how it would be working here and kinda happy I dodged that bullet.

I had my first interview over the phone with the HR supervisor. They mostly just went over the job details, the company, and their mission. Then they asked me a couple of basic things like if I knew about Retail Math. The next interview was on Skype with the team that needs someone for the role, and some other people in that department too so they could give their opinions. It all happened really fast, in less than two weeks. I had my second interview on a Thursday morning, and then Friday afternoon they called to offer me the job.
