Behavioral Case

It was pretty straightforward. Since I had prior experience in the restaurant industry, it was easier for me. However, for those new to the restaurant scene, you really need to demonstrate your sales abilities. Being familiar with the STAR method is also crucial for success in the interview.

I had some great interviews and really enjoyed meeting with the recruiter and the team. Unfortunately, after a few rounds of interviews, I was completely ghosted. I tried to reach out to both the recruiter and hiring manager for an update a few times and never heard back. I do believe that all candidates who have progressed through a few rounds of interviews deserve a response. It really impacted my experience as a candidate, which is disappointing as I loved meeting the team.

Behavioral Group Case Presentation

Made it through all 5 interviews, three of them were group interviews, and a 6 hour case study project. At the end, I was told: "We will not be moving forward. But I can tell you that you did great in interviews and you would be a fit as the team decides to grow." The voicemail seemed pretty misleading. In addition, I was not given any feedback as to why they passed. It seems to be a common thread for this role now that I'm reading on past interview reviews on Glassdoor. There were also instances where I was booked for interviews on days I was not available.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty straightforward. I had an initial discovery call with the recruiter. Everything seemed well, and I was invited to a secondary interview with upper management. The interview felt good, it was more conversational and really painted a unique picture about the role. Towards the end, it was my turn to ask questions, and the tone shifted. When I asked about the financial culture and career opportunities, I received curt answers, making me feel uncomfortable. I decided to end the interview a bit early and then removed myself from the interview pool. HR was professional and requested feedback, which speaks volumes.
