We had an HR interview to see how well you know the company, your motivations for the job and the field, and to go over your studies and work history. There was also a bit of a chat in English. Then, if the manager agreed with your profile, there was an interview with them to talk about the job and see if your past experiences fit. Finally, another HR chat to confirm everything and discuss the perks of working at Chanel.

Behavioral Other

It was a pretty long process that took around 2 months. I spoke with a few managers and they asked some pretty basic questions about my long-term goals, experience in fashion, and relationship building skills. This seems pretty standard for luxury brands like Chanel, they really take their time making sure you're the right fit.

First, a quick 15-min call with the recruiter (intro, process explanation). Then, a 1-hour video call diving deeper (motivations, current and target salary, greatest achievement, biggest challenge, reaction to stress...). Finally, a video interview with the department manager (quick intro, motivations, management style, detailed description of how you handled specific situations, IT tools used, new processes introduced). The interactions are respectful, polite, quick, and straightforward – simple exchanges where you feel heard.

I talked to them on the phone and then did a Zoom interview with a few team members. They showed me some of their recent social media campaigns and told me about the strategies and results. Then, they asked me for my ideas on how to make the campaigns better, like increasing engagement, improving the message, and making them more effective. We had a good chat where I could show what I know about social media and getting good results.
